Hi!

This is my latest attempt at creating an all-inclusive web portfolio chronicling my career as an information professional. Please feel free to poke around, leave some feedback, or shoot me an instant message in the box on the right.

A little about me:

I’ve worked in public and academic libraries in various roles from page to clerk to librarian. I hold a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Art and Architecture and an MLIS, both from the University of Pittsburgh. I’m currently employed at Carnegie Mellon University as its Information Literacy Fellow. It’s a grant funded position with goals of advancing the University’s information literacy plan and disseminating information literacy programming to the local educational community. My professional interests range from: integration of information literacy instruction and assessment into discipline-specific curricula, collaborative information literacy relationships between various educational institutions, information literacy pedagogy, the effects of new media on humans’ information management etc. , etc.

I’m currently funded on rapidly diminishing soft money, and I’m actively looking for new opportunities!
